Not-So-Brief Brief Update

Howdy!
So I'm going to start this off with the assumption that quite a few of you have forgotten about me. Which is to be expected, you know? Anyways. One of the reasons I've been gone as of late is because I've had a lot going on (Oh wow. I care so much.)
for the people who care, I am still writing Genesis, and it's going through a major rewrite right now. I think that this version of the story is more compact and just a better story overall. When I first started Genesis it was (for starters it wasn't even called Genesis) just a fun project some stupid kid thought of. It was kind of like the first "crossover" or whatever.
I don't know.
I was, like I said, a stupid little kid with no creative direction or overall idea.
A while later I tried rebooting it and retitled it "LF Genesis" as an attempt to keep it tied to the original. Eventually I dropped the "LF" all together and that's how we got here.
I guess since you guys never really saw anything come to fruition you kind of assumed I had canned it along with the original. I mean, you were a little correct. I definitely considered it heavily. Here's why:
Genesis was never a main priority of mine. I always put family, school, etc. first. Sorry if that's upsetting or something? I just never really felt the need to get this shit out there. To be completely honest I still don't. I still want to, but I wouldn't be completely ashamed of myself if it never did happen.
That being said...
I'm still doing it! But it's definitely not my #1 artistic priority. I don't intend for Genesis to blow up in popularity and suddenly I had 100,000,000,000,000,000 followers and I'm getting tons of puss and-
I feel like for Genesis to get any recognition I'd have to bribe some people and do some real shady shit. Which is a no-no.
I mean.
It's essentially a Sonic fanfic.
However.
For the past couple years I've had an actual idea that's been going through rethinking and designing and scrapping and all that shit that people do.
And I'm honestly really set on doing this.
I'm actually writing a legitimate comic book. It's called Enhanced and I've been really set on doing this bitch. I may or may not change the title but you know.
I know this is probably going to be a deal-breaker for you guys but it's not a free thing. I've been working extra jobs and such saving up money so I can take the leap and self-publish it. The plan as of now is to set it up with Amazon so that everyone can get a physical copy shipped to them if they want. I will also sell physical copies at my booth at conventions or whatever but you know.
This probably sounds like another empty promise and I don't blame you for thinking in that way. I've made plans for making things for so many things, and I genuinely want to complete all of them (I also intend to.)
I think that this is going to be my main project for quite some time, though. I don't think financially it's going to be very smart but artistically and personally this is something I feel that I really need to do.
So I'm sorry if any of you got "fed-up" with my lack of posting or my lack of updates on Genesis but hey...
